FF6 and FF4 are the most overrated games in the series FF7 is actually underrated at this point the most underrated games in the series right now are probably FF5 and FF16

While I doubt they'll top the beauty of the original, I hope they do Ocarina of Time justice with the remake. This game is truly special and I'm glad a new generation will get to experience it in some form.

Tekken's director asked for Clive specifically Also Tekken devs probably would have designed Tifa like shit like they do just about every guest character and it'd only lead to Tekken players hating her like they do Clive, Noctis, and Akuma. Tifa is in better hands in SF
harada asked for tifa in tekken 8 and them niggas farted into the phone and gave them clive LMAOOOOOOO

A lot of the time my dreams are really mundane and I recently dreamt that I was drawing. Like that's it, that's the whole dream lol I haven't really drawn in years and barely even think about drawing these days. Maybe subconsciously I really want to draw again.

My brief time in the PVP community was the worst time I've had in this game. Joining PVP streams and discords completely drained the fun out of playing the game. It isn't just 'a few bad apples' either. Miserable ass behavior especially towards new names is too common.
Getting stalked, harassed, and gaslit by members of the 2026 CCRC Champion Team Big Goat City in ranked Crystalline Conflict – and my plea to Square Enix for more moderation in FFXIV PvP. docs.google.com/document/d/1… @FF_XIV_EN @FF_XIV_JP

people are always so disingenuous when talking about xiv job identity or "uniqueness" it's insane
Replying to @TamamoTailFluff
I mean the problem is the way things are now, ALL the tanks play identically, ALL the healers play the same, and ALL the ranged DPS play the same. Melee DPS are slightly more unique because of positionals. You need to understand why the other roles are desperate.

I think this is the oldest screenshot of my character that I have. And this is when I finished Heavensward, Shadowbringers, and Endwalker. I like that aside from very early on I was pretty consistent with my character's look.
do you still have pictures of your wol when you started ffxiv? i miss mine so much and get hit by big nostalgia every time i see her 🥹

Like every complaint I have generally seen about Ocarina is just overblown or straight up non-existent. The game holds up exceptionally well it's kind of insane.
playing ocarina of time for the first time in 2026 is crazy because i've been hearing people complain about navi since i was like 9 and then you actually play the game and she barely talks to you

A game that was released 3 years ago is the reason KH4 hasn't come out or had much news even 4 years after it's announcement because it borrowed some KH staff But the ongoing 7R series which shares the same internal division and key leadership with KH has nothing to do with it?
Next time, instead of pointing the finger at the fans, try blaming Square Enix and Disney for the situation and the poor decisions the companies have made over the years. @NightSkyKing_ The main complaint is that Square Enix is “milking” the FF7 Remake while there’s been almost no news about the Kingdom Hearts series (which was announced several years ago) one cancelled, giving the impression that FF7 development is slowing down or pushing everything else to nothingness Honestly, it wasn't the comments I saw, rather I saw people complaining that there's too much FF7 and that the KH franchise is being silenced, but not that KH4 is being delayed because of FF7. It's not really the same thing and you shouldn't take what people say as representative of the “truth” especially YouTubers and streamers who, in a way, spread that kind of false idea, if you know what I mean. Final Fantasy VII Remake (2020) FF7 Remake Intergrade (2021) Crisis Core Reunion (2022) Ever Crisis (2023) Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (2024) That's the full Remake trilogy in progress a remake of a spin-off. Meanwhile, they just canceled Kingdom Hearts: Missing-Link entirely. We hope that the wait will eventually pay off, perhaps with a console version of Missing Link. The problem remains the disparity in treatment between the franchises, and the silence is to blame not the fans. The wait has never been the problem either; it’s the lack of transparency.

Calling people bots for assuming 7R is the reason for KH4 delays and then trying to blame FF16 makes zero sense. We can't really know the exact reasons or what is going on with development sure, but saying this was mind numbingly stupid.

I just think open world games need to either make traversing the open world fun(like Spiderman) or exploring the open world fun(like BOTW) and often the open world is just forced into games that did neither and did not need to even be open world.
I hate the idea that open world needs to be filled to the brim with content to be any good, like any emptiness is already a flaw

FF14. I was sick, not working and had just replayed FF1-5 to take my mind off things. Friends were playing it so even though I don't like MMOs I said what the hell I'll try it. I ended up loving the game and sticking with it longer than any of them did.
What game did you pick up on a whim with absolutely no expectations, but then it turned out to be something absolutely amazing?

I think the first time I really really felt this was with either FF7 or Ocarina of Time not sure which was first but both of them had a ridiculously lasting impact on me as a kid and those games have only gotten better in my eyes the more I've thought about and replayed them.
