Next time, instead of pointing the finger at the fans, try blaming Square Enix and Disney for the situation and the poor decisions the companies have made over the years.
@NightSkyKing_
The main complaint is that Square Enix is “milking” the FF7 Remake while there’s been almost no news about the Kingdom Hearts series (which was announced several years ago) one cancelled, giving the impression that FF7 development is slowing down or pushing everything else to nothingness
Honestly, it wasn't the comments I saw, rather I saw people complaining that there's too much FF7 and that the KH franchise is being silenced, but not that KH4 is being delayed because of FF7. It's not really the same thing and you shouldn't take what people say as representative of the “truth” especially YouTubers and streamers who, in a way, spread that kind of false idea, if you know what I mean.
Final Fantasy VII Remake (2020)
FF7 Remake Intergrade (2021)
Crisis Core Reunion (2022)
Ever Crisis (2023)
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (2024)
That's the full Remake trilogy in progress a remake of a spin-off. Meanwhile, they just canceled Kingdom Hearts: Missing-Link entirely.
We hope that the wait will eventually pay off, perhaps with a console version of Missing Link. The problem remains the disparity in treatment between the franchises, and the silence is to blame not the fans. The wait has never been the problem either; it’s the lack of transparency.
