Good morning. We woke up to a new hack. Drift. This hack happened with not because of solana, codes or contracts but human stupidity. Calling this as incident is not correct. Days like this remind everyone of something important: Building a defi platfrom is not just about launching fast. It is about carrying the weight of other people’s money. At TIPO, we could probably put TIPO X live today. But launching is easy. Building something that deserves trust is the hard part. The moment you hold user funds, every detail matters: wallet architecture, permissions, monitoring, alerts, response time, damage control, everything. Because if wallets can be drained for 15 minutes and nobody notices within the first few minutes, then the problem is bigger than code. It is a failure of responsibility. This space rewards speed too much and discipline too little. That is why so many painful lessons keep repeating. We are not interested in launching something half-ready just to post a milestone. We would rather build slower, think deeper, test harder, and release only when we believe it can carry the weight it is meant to carry.
