Sources told us that BCCI first approached Sir Nehal Wadhera to take over the captaincy of the Indian team, but he rejected it saying it would be overkill for the other teams
He said if he becomes ICT captain, every opposition team would get bowled out for 0 while batting first, and Indian batters would smash every ball for six
BCCI officials reportedly discussed that cricket would become too boring and TRPs would drop drastically because of his unreal dominance
So in the end, it was a mutual decision between Sir Nehal Wadhera and BCCI to not appoint him as the next ICT captain
