Over the weekend, 13 MBZUAI undergraduates joined 400 international delegates at the “Change the World” Model United Nations hosted by Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, where they negotiated, drafted resolutions, and turned ideas into actionable diplomacy.
Representing seven countries, our students, who were coached by Chirantan Chatterjee and supported by our UG Student Life team, paired critical thinking with calm leadership, and earned four of the event’s top six awards, including Best Delegation Award (👏 Aro Dana Faeq, Sophia Timoshkina) and honorable mentions for Tabina Sevideen, Anagha Rohit and Afsah Buraaq.
