ART3MIS.CLOUD Update Our site now features a decentralized widget to support one of our core missions with decentralized moderation. For over 30 years and across multiple continents we have worked in supporting animals. Our volunteers are currently feeding over 500-600 cats daily and aiming to feed more. Last year we averaged 1000 or so per day and aim to beat that. Check out our widget, such wow art3mis.cloud/

🦉 On a journey through educating myself on Alpenglow consensus and avoiding killing my eyes against raw logs, I developed a tool that could be interesting to local enthusiasts. Please have a look, this is abracadabra 📷 . It is a pure console log illustrator that tries to plot a relatively precise picture of what is going on validator-side. I learned something by building it and hope you fellas find it interesting too. Please note, this is purely me trying to understand the source and a new log stream. I can be wrong on something, and if you spot any misalignment, please post an issue on GitHub. I would like to learn more together. Currently tested with 'ag-v0.3.2' and above

Slept 7h for the first time in weeks. Woke up feeling fresh and energized. Step out onto the terrace. It's warm and sunny, not a cloud in the sky. What a beautiful sunday. Coffee time. I live for this moment. That first sip in the morning. Life is amazing. Open the laptop. Agave 4.0 is rolling out, let's take a quick look at metrics. Looking great. This release really is something. The big validators are upgrading, all the key metrics are visibly improving even though we're only at ~25% adoption. Vibes are immaculate. Not a drop of cortisol in my blood. What a day. Oh right, the testnet XDP thing. A week ago, we asked everyone on testnet to turn XDP on so we can run some stress tests. Let's see how that's going. ... Only 80 of you have turned it on. I'm going to crash out. We ask you to do one thing. One command. It takes one minute and you don't do it. What is wrong with you. The cluster limit should be 100 nodes we don't need more and you can't change my mind. TURN THE THING ON OH MY GOD IT TAKES ONE MINUTE WHY DON'T YOU WANT TO WIN

Slowpoke Update: - Validator client types are now visible on the leaderboard, enabling quick identification of each validator's client (e.g., Jito, BAM, Firedancer, Agave/Harmonic). - SFDP status is displayed with clear, color-coded badges (Approved, Pending, Rejected, and related states). These fields are sourced from the Trillium API and cached for consistency and performance. Report any discrepancies or unexpected classifications.

The hero of the night! Operators asleep at the wheel? Is this the new fashion statement for solana? Stake with real operators! art3mis.cloud/

And that 21 is overstated Add together stake of similarly named validators and the NC drops to between 15-20 And how low does it go if white labels and anons operated by the same entities are consolidated? This is why @Layer_33_ is needed, now

16/ The top 10 validators control 23% of $SOL staked. Superminority (33% of stake needed to halt consensus) is reached at 21 validators. Supermajority (66% of stake needed to finalize consensus and process transactions) requires the top 90 validators.

When I started in crypto nearly 10 years ago, decentralization was the default Over the years it's turned into an eye roll Now's the time to restore crypto to its roots Now's the time for Solana to walk the decentralized walk and not just talk the talk Layer 33 is how we do it
If there is one thing you can count on, it's that Chainflow will be at the forefront of the fight for decentralization.

Please make crypto cypherpunk again We are in an age of corp chains, where companies with huge balance sheets and existing distribution can do things like wrap a single sequencer in robes of elaborate marketing, including heavy handed storytelling that decentralization doesn’t actually matter, or that this effort “helps the L1” when everyone knows that is illogical propaganda Meanwhile, attempts at crypto native app chain infra (cosmos, L2s) are getting trounced by corporates and even telling themselves, in their revenue starved states, that they just need to become corp chains too. This isn’t what I signed up for when I first read about the “peer to peer electronic cash system” and I am pretty sure that’s true for most of you, too.
