Hey folks - I haven't been very active lately, but I can't help sharing this discovery with you all. Did you know that @figma has added a Set Variable Mode Interaction? This allows you to switch from light to dark mode and back with just a click, all within a single layout.
It seems they added this functionality a while ago, but I somehow missed it. Very handy π€©

I listened to your feedback and decided to replicate this in @Framer. It works, but there's a slight delay before the z-index applies to the hovered state, so it doesn't appear above the others instantly.
Are there any Framer experts who can help with fixing this thing? π

Question for @figma experts: Is there a way to mimic z-index in Figma? I need a hover effect that enlarges a container and places it on top of others, regardless of the auto-layout arrangement.
The "show overlay on hover" option doesn't work for me because I need the content to stay strictly associated with the card. Creating a separate overlay for each card with similar content is quite time-consuming. Variables can handle the text content but not the background image.
@realvjy @rogie @miggi, you're the known experts in Figma functionality. Please tell me there's a secret tip to achieve this π

X algo is so unpredictable. I was super active just a couple of weeks ago, but most of my posts barely reached 500 impressions.
Now, after three weeks of complete inactivity, my first post went viral immediately - 12k impressions, hundreds of likes, and over 30 new followers within 12 hours. This is quite an achievement for me, especially considering my usual reach.
