MEET M14HOOPS FOUNDER AND CEO MATT MILLER ‼️ Coach Matt played high school ball at Waubonsie Valley High School graduating in 2001 (2024 Hall of Fame Inductee). His college career took him to 4 different schools. Freshman year he played at SIUC, then sophomore year at a junior college which led him to ISU and finally finishing up at Bellarmine University which he graduated from in 2006. Throughout his college career Coach Matt was fortunate to play under some great coaches ! Bruce Weber, Matt Painter(Purdue), Chris Lowry(Northwestern), Porter Moser(Oklahoma), Steve Forbes(Wake Forest), Brian Barone(SIUE), Scott Davenport (Bellarmine). After college, Matt played professionally in England, Bosnia, Germany & for Rwanda’s National team. (Names of first 4 courts at M14 facility are named after countries he’s played) On September 23rd, 2009 (age 26) he started M14Hoops. For the first 9 years of business, Coach Matt rented gyms anywhere he could find one. By 2014 M14Hoops was known as the #1 option for player development. In 2017, Matt decided to build his own facility and started Team M-XIV; M14Hoops AAU teams. M14Hoops is now the largest club in the state of Illinois. M14Hoops also has 12 locations throughout the US, with more to come ! The development system Coach Matt created now helps over 10,000 young athletes annually throughout the country. The growth has been awesome but what Coach Matt truly enjoys is each player getting the individual attention they deserve to help turn their Dreams into a Reality!
