Estamos muy orgullosos de ti y de todo lo que has aportado a este club, eres parte de nuestra historia 💙
Esta siempre será tu casa.
The day I do this post has long been due, but I'll make it official now: I'm quitting competitive VALORANT.
It has been more than a year now since I last felt the joy of competing and where I actually wanted to be better than everyone else. With that it was noticeable that my performances dropped, since my work ethic also did, and I didn't bother grinding as much as when I really wanted this, in a way, I was just going along with the flow, while doing the bare minimum to make sure I wasn't dead weight, but never going beyond that to become the best version of myself.
It has been a beatiful journey, where I went to the depths of hell and back, played tier 50 and tier 2 Ascension Play-Ins, had some very nice moments and some worse ones, but all of them made me who I am today.
For that, I am thankful, as this was a part of my life since it first released, and I even got to travel around the world because of this, what more can someone ask for?
Unfortunately, all that is good comes to an end, and for me this is it. I'm no longer happy while playing, scrimming feels like a chore, and playing officials no longer is something I look forward to like I used to. It's a sign it's finally time to stop and dedicate myself to my content creation that I've been doing on YouTube, as well as my career IRL (for those who don't know, I graduated with a BSc in Computer Engineering while competing, always balancing both).
A lot of people have left their mark on me, some for better some for worst, but all of them changed a tiny bit in me, and molded me into someone who can be proud of themselves. I'm not gonna tag anyone, since I've been here for 6 years nearly and played with a few dozens of players and staff, but all of them know who they are and what they did for me at my lowest and at my highest.
For all of you, thank you for sharing a bit of your journey with me, and hopefully you achieve your dreams of making it in this esport.
Lastly, I wanna say I'll still be around helping where I can on my free time, and will probably play with IRL friends on my free time some tournaments, but nothing serious and don't plan on commiting all of my free time to VALORANT once again, or nearly any at all for that matter.
It's been a beautiful journey, I've cried and I've laughed, I've met incredible people and had the guidance of many coaches and players that are amazing human beings besides being good at the game, so I wish all of you good luck on your endeavors, you guys know who you are.
And with this, I finally announce this was my last VCL split, and will be moving away to focus on other things.
Thank you to everyone for reading until here, and we'll meet in the future if it's meant to be!
Bye bye!
(a few moments I've lived in this scene to not make this post bland asf)
