I watched 2 women come and very quickly deposit several huge bin bags full of rubbish in our blocks bins . Luckily I fasten mine shut .They drove off sharpish . Bins so full the lids won’t shut .
Council came today and hauled all the bags away for inspection .

On June 6, 1944, more than 156,000 Allied soldiers crossed the English Channel and stormed the beaches of Normandy — many knowing they might never return.

As we mark the 82nd anniversary, we don’t simply remember a battle. We remember the men behind it — their fear, their faith, and their extraordinary willingness to give everything so that others could live free. That debt does not expire with time. It only deepens.

I had a brand new Apple iPad Pro delivered yesterday, and I can’t bring myself to open and set it up. I’m thinking I’ll need to sign into all my apps again and I’m not sure about my googlemail which I really don’t want to get locked out of like hotmail did .
