April fools doesn’t hit the same living in a misinformation epidemic

I was in a 2 hour briefing today on the Iran War. All the briefings are closed, because Trump can't defend this war in public. I obviously can't disclose classified info, but you deserve to know how incoherent and incomplete these war plans are. 1/ Here's what I can share:

I’ve seen several people make this point, but it bears repeating: a staggering number of Americans are about to realize that the government had the capacity to help them all along simply chose not to, because those in power did not prioritize their lives or well-being.

Threatening war because you didn't get a peace prize is a new one.

The United States doesn’t even support the brave people of the United States.

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month. It’s about oil and regime change. And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from Epstein skyrocketing healthcare costs.

There are few things that haunt me more than someone dying this young. Her essay on coming to terms with her mortality was one of the more gorgeous things I’ve read, and a reminder how lucky we are to be here. RIP.

30% fare increases Service cuts by 20% across the board Dozens of routes eliminated "Unusable service" on weekends We are imminently facing an irreversible public transportation "death spiral" because Harrisburg Republicans did not fund SEPTA. This new reality is nothing short of catastrophic for West and Southwest Philadelphians, who disproportionatley rely on public transportation to get around. The time for political games is over. A bill fully funding SEPTA already passed the State House with bipartisan support. I call on Pennsylvania Senate Republicans to stop stonewalling and immediately send House Bill 2625 to Governor Shapiro's desk. If all else fails, I urge Governor Shapiro to do everything he can to stop the bleeding.
