Quite taken aback at the unabashed racism and fetishization of Indian women, I showed that to my colleagues who casually brushed it off.

Mulim boy and Hindu girl were in a relationship and had planned to get married.
Before the marriage, Hindu's parents asked a lawyer to verify M's background.
During the verification, they discovered that M was already legally married and had two children.
They later found out that M had also married another woman about two years earlier and they had a child together.
Shockingly M had been in a relationship with H during those same two years.
It was further revealed that the second wife was financially well off, and M was allegedly using her money to help support the household of his first wife.
Despite all this, M still wanted to marry H because she was the only daughter of a wealthy family.
