Check this out. Leadership redefined #BBMzansiS6 #Leadership
If your team keeps asking “What should I do?” That’s not a hiring failure. That’s a leadership pattern. Advice feels helpful. It also quietly trains dependency. Over time, you don’t lead decisions. You become the decision. That’s how founders burn out while capable teams wait for permission to move. The shift isn’t working harder or communicating better. It’s building a Decision Engine so thinking doesn’t bottleneck at you. You’re not paid to have answers. You’re paid to design systems where answers become obvious. That’s exactly what we build in the Leadership Lab. Not advice. Decision systems. Sign up to the Leadership Lab. Link in comments.

Strategy is about doing less not more. #strategy
Most CEOs think strategy is a "To-Do" list. The best know it’s a "Stop-Doing" list. Michael Porter once said: "The essence of strategy is choosing what not to do." In a world obsessed with "more"—more features, more channels, more AI tools, most companies aren't failing due to a lack of opportunity. They are failing because they are drowning in it. They have 50 priorities, which means they have zero priorities. At @bloopglobal , we operate at the intersection of high-level management consulting and 360° digital execution. We see it every day: Traditional consultants (the McKinsey’s of the world) give you a 100-page deck on what to do, then leave you to figure out the "how." Digital agencies build whatever you ask for, even if it doesn't move the needle for your bottom line. We do neither. We help you identify the 20% of digital initiatives that will drive 80% of your growth, and then we build the infrastructure to make it happen. We don’t just give you the strategy. We give you the filter. We don’t just build the tech. We build the "why" behind the tech. Stop adding. Start subtracting. What is one initiative your business needs to kill today to grow tomorrow? Let’s talk in the comments. 👇 #StrategicThinking #BusinessTransformation #DigitalConsulting #BloopGlobal #MichaelPorter #ScaleUp

I almost said no when a friend asked me to run points on The Enterprise Village back in 2021. "I know you're busy, but I can't think of anyone else who can do this." They were right. I'm always busy. My hands are in everything. Some people complain that I do too much. But I'd rather die empty than die full of unused potential. (Yes, there's also that snail-paced spoken word career and ministry work I do half-heartedly because I never feel qualified enough. But I digress.) Building businesses excites me. Building self-driven teams is my edge. Fixing broken systems is my jam SO yeah, I helped launch The Enterprise Village in 2021. Great foundation, strong people. Then life happened. A two-year back pain detour forced me offline. In 2024, I returned with a simple goal: make EV work like a business, not a clubhouse. We overhauled everything. Two people on payroll at EV. Bloop Global’s team ran operations. We traded “family vibes” for real structure. And guess what ? it is paying off. Why am I making all the noise ? Drumrollssssssss! We are transitioning EV into a Venture Studio. Because Accra doesn’t need another desk-for-rent. Founders need execution support. What we do now - Company building sprints: from idea to first revenue - Talent and leadership systems: self-driven teams, not heroics - Ops and finance discipline: dashboards, cadence, accountability - Product and growth experiments: tight cycles, clear metrics - Investor readiness: materials, traction narrative, intros If you’re a founder who wants momentum over vibes, check the new look and offering. Tell me what’s missing and what to sharpen. Meet EV 2.0: The place where ideas become operating companies. Website in the comments as well

We often think of leadership as something tied to a fancy title: CEO, Manager, Director. But the truth is, leadership has very little to do with the nameplate on your door and everything to do with how you show up for others.

80% of "strategy problems" are just communication problems. I see this CONSTANTLY. Leadership team spends weeks on a brilliant strategy. Rolls it out. Six months later: "The strategy isn't working." But when you dig deeper... People are executing different versions of what they THOUGHT they heard. The CEO meant X. The General managers heard Y. Middle managers interpreted it as Z. And frontline employees are doing... something else entirely. No one's actually testing the real strategy! I was consulting with a media company a few years back. Their "failed product strategy" wasn't failing because the strategy was wrong. It was failing because 3 different teams had 3 different ideas of what success looked like. They were literally working against each other. Do this quick test …. Ask 5 people on your team to explain your current strategy. If you get 5 hugely different answers, you don't have a strategy problem. You have a communication problem. The hardest part of executing strategy is not the strategy itself but getting everyone to understand it the same way. Anyone else see this pattern? Or am I just working with uniquely dysfunctional teams? 😂
