We can confirm six departures from our Isuzu UTE A-League squad following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.
Joel King, Patrick Wood, Ahmet Arslan and Corey Hollman will depart the Sky Blues following the expiration of their contracts while Apostolos Stamatelopoulos & Piero Quispe return to their parent clubs following their loan spells.

One of the best players I’ve seen at Sydney FC. When he was fully fit and firing, he was just incredible to watch.
Shame he couldn’t be farewelled with a toilet seat, but jeez what a signing he was. Been a pleasure having him at Sydney.

I think yesterday will go down as a really good day for Sydney supporters who travelled. A really fun and party-like atmosphere, well marshalled, well organised, and well policed by Auckland coppers.
Vibes were high, locals were very friendly and gracious, and it was just fun.

Going into it with zero expectation and just being happy to be part of it was a new experience. You’re bricking it when you’re a top 2 side in the GF, but when you’re 5th it’s just a fun bonus.
