Another damning indictment of Howe and club. Talk a good game regards spotting talent and nurturing it. Had an England midfielder in academy from a bairn and they flogged him for £15m with no sell on.

Hindsight is an incredible thing, Dan ashworth nailed Anderson to become Newcastles future CM for the next 10 years & future captain too. Didn’t want Joelinton signing a new contract and wanted to shift him on, but Howe went above his head to Amanda and told her to get Joelinton to sign a new contract.
What was Dan ashworth smoking to see what Anderson would turn into? Anderson played over 50 games for Newcastle and had 3 good appearances

When Isak left I was gutted as he was class. Gordon has been good, but never great for me. He’s a runner, can press, but is bang average in a lot of ways….

No issue selling a player for double the money we paid for him - Gordon is a trophy winner who’s been decent for us. Good luck to him.
Issue is we will wait till August 31st to bring in Solly March as his succesor.

Howe must feel invincible at Newcastle. Horrendous form, horrendous recruitment, horrendous coaching and the same problems being exposed week in week out but he’s still got the confidence of everyone at the club. He’s going to be here for a long while yet isn’t he?
