Q: In the music video, there’s a strong emphasis on a raw and rugged monochrome mood, which is quite different from the bright image of the past. With everyone adjusting their look and expressions to appear more mature and intense, was there any member who made everyone go, “Wow,” because they fit this concept so well?
Asahi: I think it was Haruto. He expressed the song really well, especially from the intro. In my opinion, he’s the member who can best convey the song’s vibe and hip-hop essence.
Q: Now that you’ve grown up together and spent so many years as a group, becoming like brothers and family, was there a moment while preparing this album when you felt, “We understand each other without even saying anything”?
Asahi: Sometimes when we’re discussing what to eat and end up thinking of the exact same menu, I feel in those little moments that “we’ve truly become a family.” Because we’ve spent so much time together, we naturally start thinking similarly and wanting the same things. I find that really amazing.
Q: Throughout your career as an artist, what is something you’ve learned from this profession?
Asahi: Among the many things I’ve learned, one of the most important is understanding the value of living as my true self.

“I got in the car and we were talking (about earlier encore) and I was looking back at it then suddenly it kind of hit me emotionally, like “wow” and tears started coming up. so I tried to hold it back and stop myself from crying, but it didn’t work, because honestly…
there were times when things were really hard, and we really worked so hard.
so moments like this feel kind of rewarding somehow, and it also became a chance for me to reflect again.
