Aura Protocol is winding down following a series of governance votes.
As of 13 May 2026, pools are now withdrawal-only.
The redemption process will happen in two stages:
Stage 1: AURA holders can redeem on the Aura app for a pro-rata share of treasury assets.
LP, vault, and locker positions remain withdrawable at all times.

We observed significant liquidations of large BAL positions on Aave and Venus overnight, which led to significant price volatility.
Balancer teams are currently assessing how this affects liquidity mining emissions across our pools and coordinating next steps with ecosystem partners.
This was an external market event. The protocol remains secure, fully operational, and unaffected by these liquidations.
