If you're shipping a dev tool, the docs are half the product. That's why Meridian includes a real docs setup, not a placeholder. Fumadocs MDX, ⌘K search, Shiki highlighting, and custom MDX components (Accordion, Steps, Tabs, Callout, TypeTable). Astro or Next.js. shadcnblocks.com/template/me…

The detail I like most about the Shadcnblocks IDE Extension: you never leave the editor. Search 1300 blocks, preview inline, click install. It runs the shadcn CLI for you, so the block lands structured exactly like every other shadcn component. VS Code, Cursor, and more. shadcnblocks.com/ide-extensi…

The CLI can now search across multiple registries. If you have the mcp, you can ask for "find me a hero and add it to the homepage" and it will search all configured registries for hero. You can also now filter by type eg. -t theme. Works with github registries as well.

Reminder that the Shadcn Page Builder exists and it's free to try. Drag blocks from the full library onto a canvas, compose a page, save it, and install with `npx shadcn add @shadcnblocks/page/{id}`. The output is your code — no runtime, no lock-in. Preview is open to anyone. Save / edit / install ships on Elite. shadcnblocks.com/explorer/bu…

Admin Kit v2.2.0 shipped. Two full app sections this release: a Project Management suite (32 pages — 4 dashboards; issue views in list/kanban/calendar/gantt/spreadsheet; teams, members, inbox) and a Todo app (12 pages, Zustand state, subtasks, reminders). Both live inside the shared admin shell — one sidebar, one header. shadcnblocks.com/admin-dashb…

Shipped the thing I've wanted since we started Shadcnblocks: a Shadcn Page Builder. Drag-and-drop full page composition. Save. Install with one shadcn CLI command. Pages become URLs you can share and fork. The whole shadcn workflow, but at the page level. Check @shadcnblocks shadcnblocks.com/explorer/bu…

Writing 8 separate `npx shadcn add` commands and then making the sections feel like one page is the actual cost of starting a landing page in 2026. The Shadcn Page Builder collapses that into one command one visual canvas. It's not a no-code tool. It's a code-bootstrapper. See more @shadcnblocks

Meridian is live — our take on a premium developer-tools SaaS template. The intro cycles "Observe. Measure. Respond." and morphs into the brand mark. Under it: Motion GSAP, Fumadocs MDX docs with ⌘K search, Shiki highlighting, charts. Ships in both Next.js 16 and Astro 6 editions. shadcnblocks.com/template/me…

Small Shadcn Page Builder detail I'm proud of: theme dark mode palette swap is in the toolbar. Drag in a Hero, dark-mode it, see it break, try a different Hero. 30 seconds per iteration instead of 30 minutes per `npm run dev` cycle.

We deliberately kept the Shadcn Page Builder minimal. No inline text editing. No "design system editor." Just: drag, drop, reorder, save, install. The fancy customization you want already exists — in your IDE, with full TypeScript intellisense.

Shipped the Shadcnblocks IDE Extension. Search 1300 shadcn/ui blocks, preview them, and install straight into your project — all inside VS Code or Cursor. No tab-switching to the site, no copy-paste dance. It uses the same shadcn CLI under the hood, so blocks land in your codebase ready to use. shadcnblocks.com/ide-extensi…

If you're building a journaling app, a meditation app, a writing tool, or a privacy-first consumer SaaS, Kinto saves you 4-6 weeks of frontend work. Not a layout skeleton — every page is intentionally designed, including legal and changelog routes. shadcnblocks.com/template/ki…

Important detail on the Shadcn Page Builder: anyone can open and preview it right now, no signup. Save / edit / install-to-project lives on the Elite plan. We wanted the demo wide open so people can decide if it fits their workflow before they pay anything. shadcnblocks.com/explorer/bu…

Reminder for beginning of June: the Shadcn Page Builder is the new flagship feature on the Elite plan. Anyone can preview it free at /explorer/builder. Saving pages, editing templates, and installing them via shadcn CLI is the Elite-tier piece. If you ship landing pages, this is the workflow upgrade.

the shadcn ecosystem is amazing 8k free shadcn blocks can be accessed via your ai assistant! I haven't even added big registires such as @shadcnblocks, @reui_io @shadcnstudio yet, once they’re in, we’ll be at well over 12k quickly!

Good news, nearly every single developer and designer in the world loves what @shadcn has built - can you imagine how sad it must be to be a hater?
Today’s good news.

I also want to take a moment to appreciate @shadcn I don’t think people fully understand how difficult it is to steward an ecosystem at this scale without it turning toxic, fragmented, or overly corporate. What @shadcn has done over the last few years has honestly been incredible to watch. He managed to create an ecosystem that stayed open, creative, community-driven, and genuinely exciting while millions of developers piled in around it. That balance is extremely rare. On a personal level, it completely changed my life. @shadcnblocks would not exist without the foundation he created. What started as a small side project for me turned has turned into a real business, new friendships around the world, hiring and working with dozens of open source creators, and a completely different future for my family. Through all of that growth, @shadcn consistently handled the ecosystem with a level of patience, restraint, and fairness that most people never see behind the scenes. A lot of people benefit from this ecosystem every single day. I’m definitely one of them. Grateful for everything you’ve built and how you’ve managed it, Shad.

I want to write one appreciation post about @shadcn This time not about the technology, but about the person behind it. We all know @shadcn is kind of a hidden identity, and we don't know much about him publicly. But I had the privilege to dm with shad a few times, and I can honestly say he's one of the nicest people ever. Sometimes I even feel bad making so many shadcn/ui videos, because I wonder if it looks like I'm just farming views from it. But the truth is simple: I started using shadcn 3 years ago because I really loved it, and I'm using it on every project. You can see screenshot from my oldest shadcn video (interesting thing to see how it looked before). So thank you @shadcn Not just for the best ui project ever, but for the impact you've had on so many developers 💚 THE GOAT
