Having fun working with embedded devices? We sometimes do, literally. Come by booth B4.120 at #electronicaFair 2024 to see the Steam Deck in action, play Quake on our Vivante-based handheld or some WebXR games on @WolvicXR! 🎮➕🐺🟰🏆

A feature that has been in development for some time is finally here—Multiple Render Targets. This paves the way for necessary emulation work for GL_RGBA32F to enable GLES 3.0 support.

Igalia is such a force across all the major browser engines. I wish more companies realized that fixing a problem or adding a feature to the web could be as simple as hiring Igalia.
It's that time of year when I look at how @igalia
is stacking up in open source contributions... If it was a Friends episode it would be "The One with the Charts" (shown, we're #1 in @webkit after apple)

Made some progress with OpenCL Image read support.
I figured out almost all of the missing stuff, but somehow I am reading from the wrong offset in the image. Took me quite some time to figure this out.

I want to finish image support first, and then it will be time to think about creating a nice and easy-to-review merge request—possibly multiple ones.

I made great progress this week 🎊
There are still some hacks, missing features, and a lot of cleanups needed. Maybe a bit of refactoring here and there, but...

Igalia’s Georges Stavracas writes about profiling WebKitGTK (a Linux port of Apple’s WebKit) to see how WebKitGTK is doing after being switched from Cairo to Skia, and how he hooked into WebKitGTK's existing tracing mechanisms to make that much easier
