hey, i'm Avinash, developer from Mumbai, been building things on the internet for a bit now recently shipped CrazyUI.com, reverse engineered how Figma and Framer handle copy-paste internally, built my own auth and payments on top of it, and somehow hit 10k users on day one. still processing that honestly. by day i'm at Dzinr.in, a branding studio full of people who actually care about design. by night i'm deep in my next thing. @gridme_in, a logo grid tool for Illustrator. i don't really have a "content strategy" lol. i'll just share what i'm building, what's working, what broke, and whatever's on my mind if that sounds like your kind of feed follow along.

Most engineers ship something that works and call it done. The function runs. The API responds. The numbers are correct. Building is finished. But building is only half of the work. The other half is designing. And I don't mean making things pretty. I mean making things feel intentional. There's a difference. Engineers are trained to ask will it scale, will it break, will it perform under load. Those are the right questions for what they're building. Design asks something different. How will this feel to use? Because here's the thing. Users never see your architecture. They never think about what's running under the hood. They see the buttons. The spacing. The flow. They experience the whole product through its surface. Engineering is the engine. Design is the face. One makes the product work. The other shapes how people feel about using it. And whether we like it or not, people form that opinion in the first few seconds. Long before they understand anything happening underneath.

The most valuable creative skill today isn't creativity. It's taste. I have been thinking about this a lot while building my own product. We live in a moment where almost every skill has a shortcut now. You can generate copy, generate code, generate visuals. The tools are extraordinary and I use them every day. But there is one thing that sits outside all of it. Knowing which output is right. Not just technically correct. Not just visually clean. But right for this brand, this audience, this moment. The kind of right that a person with good taste recognises immediately and cannot always explain. That is what design actually is at its core. Not the making. The knowing. AI is generative. Not creative. It produces from what already exists. It finds the middle of the distribution. It gives you the probable answer. Good design is rarely the probable answer. It is the precise one. And the ability to find it is built the long way. Through looking at a lot of work. Sitting with things that do not feel right. Slowly developing an instinct that lives in you and nowhere else. You cannot prompt for it. You cannot shortcut it. Taste is the one thing you cannot download. #Design #BrandDesign #AI #BuildingInPublic #Creativity #DesignCommunity

been quiet on here for a few days, was heads down on something. been building GridMe for the past few months. it's an Illustrator extension for logo designers, generates construction grids, clearspace zones, and presentation sheets automatically inside Illustrator. the stuff that usually takes half your day on every revision. it's at a point where i can actually show it. not perfect, still a few things i want to fix, but i wanted real people to use it before i go further. if you do logo or brand work in Illustrator, would mean a lot if you gave it a shot and told me what you think good or bad. gridme.in

framer is wild when you think about it engineers built a tool so good that designers stopped needing them no terminal. no components. no "let me ask the dev". just drag, style, ship. they literally coded themselves out of the room that's the most devious thing i've ever seen

Finally shipped an automation that nearly pulled my soul out. Built a bot that auto-completes online courses for a friend watches lesson videos, answers MCQs, clicks through carousels, tabs, accordions, flip cards, and submits each module. The hard part wasn't the automation itself. It was identifying every possible lesson interaction type. Each course platform does it differently. Took a while. But it's working now. Easy money. Time to get back to @gridme_in
It's been a week now.. and still new bugs pop up.. everytime a new thing.. now catched most of themm.. just organising it so I can deliver and save my would from this shitt..
