So the Linkin Park website got updated.
Now it has a dialog box that references a virus that was shared using their name online wire 15 years ago.
If you click the button it pretends something went wrong and then has a countdown timer that expires at 6:00 p.m. GMT on Wednesday 1/

Even better is when you dive into the code for the website, it's pretty simple and you can see where the blue page is being displayed.
What's more fascinating is what they called that div:

When you know you're going to have > 25M viewers on a livestream, understand they're going to be extremely upset when your infrastructure can't handle the load.

I've never read the Lord of the Rings, and this week I started to listen to it as an audiobook.
The first thing that has struck me is the repeated descriptions of Gollum as an evil creature that "ate fish raw", and all I can imagine is this poor thing just liked sushi.
