Dumb project, but super happy with the result. Had two vacuum units that sat side-by-side in the garage and wasted floor space, so I made an 3D printed adapter and a MFD bracket to stack them vertically. Gotta love being a cheap-ass sometimes 🤣
Not my build, but always happy to get a chance to service one of these OG console 🥲. Had some voltage issues due to a 15 Y/O Triad going out of spec, replaced the battery, updated the BIOS to v4.0 - Good to go!
Finally CPS3 boots on FPGA. The compiler was doing a wrong simplification breaking the logic.
This was debugged on a SiDi128 that has a broken video DAC, hence the odd colors
If you solder together anything in mass quantities, use a jig!
Today I'm showing off my DB9/DB15 connector jig for extension cables.
Get jiggy with it!
Clearance Alert: Panzer FRAME. Aluminum chassis that allows a completely custom plexi top panel experience. I thought this was a great idea and alternative to a full acrylic stick for those who wanted a little more of a premium solution. Here’s one example :)

Don't buy an MVS 161-in-1 V2 cart to use with a Furrtek converter for your AES . They have a design flaw that makes them only work on MVS. I'm probably the biggest buyer of these carts in the world (300 )
To work on AES, the flash memory type and FPGA code needs to be changed.
It’s official! @8BitDo has discontinued their NEO•GEO wireless controller!
Received an email from their sales manager that it has indeed been discontinued.
I've updated my HID USB #NeoGeo controller board. Added a pair of 74LVC245 level shifters to ensure the 5v logic and the 3.3v logic of the RP2040 Zero doesn't cause any issues.
Also added ESD protection to the USB port and moved the 5v protection diode to the bottom of the board
Seems that @PLAION_UK is using some designs that were done by some of us back in the MVS insert making days. The logo here with the blue oval behind it, is 100% my creation. LOL - pretty cool!
Seriously, give this game a shot. As a fan of Dead Cells, this certainly hit the itch for a good fast-paced roguelike. Put three hours into it today alone and can certainly see this being a timesink in the future. Highly recommend it:

went into debt to make Katanaut solo.
found a reddit thread today explaining how to pirate it.

This is SuperPico Digital, an HDMI internal mod for a 2-chip SNES that I’ve been working on. It’s still in the early research and development stage (no audio, no brightness control, etc.), but it works!
I’m currently using the NeoPico HD PCB for testing, but I’m developing a specific FPC and PCB for it. Stay tuned :)

Gate level PPU emulator in a NESRGB form factor by andkorzh.

Due to being made via gate level silicon die reverse engineering, the accuracy is superior to the black box emulation of the NESRGB.
So I've designed a desktop arcade cabinet for the MiSTer. Features tool-less rotatable high res 9.7 inch iPad screen, easily replaceable control panel and stereo audio speakers all powered from a single USB-C power source.
