5 months ago a friend of mine came to meet me at home where I was trying to understand why exactly my lecturer failed me in a particular course which was very disturbing. I was lost in the thought when I just heard my name and I allowed him in and he said he has an Idea, told me about the idea and he asked "what do I think!?" In my current state i was going to push him and tell him what exactly my own problem is but then instantly I told him "This idea can be turned into a Vision and we really can bring it to reality if we belief something meaningful can be built with it" We began execution and at some point we got tired, we started questioning every little thing, got overwhelmed and we said to ourselves "We can't pull this vision I think it is bigger than we thought" Somehow we keep finding ourselves around that idea and we kept going. Late nights. Rejection after rejection. Sacrifices no one saw. And all this for one goal, to build something that actually changes lives and truly creates opportunities The late nights, the doubts, the moments you wonder if anyone will even show up, well.... This weekend over 500 people did. And I didn't have words. Watching young Africans walk through those doors hungry for knowledge, connection, and a bigger future… that's not something you forget. That's the whole point. Edition one of @axioflo is done. And yeah, it wasn't flawless but it was something more important than that. IT WAS A PROOF Proof that the vision is real. Proof that this generation is ready. Because what we're building isn't just an event series. It's an ecosystem where technology, Web3, innovation, and opportunity stop being distant ideas and start becoming accessible to young Africans who deserve them. Sacrifices. Trying to build something that could truly create opportunities and impact lives. And this weekend… I stood there watching over 500 people show up for something we built from scratch. That moment hit differently. Seeing young people hungry to learn, connect, grow, and believe in a bigger future for themselves reminded me why I started this journey in the first place. The first edition was successful. Not because everything was perfect, but because the vision was real. What we’re building with @axioflo is bigger than events. It’s about creating a platform, a movement, and an ecosystem where innovation, technology, Web3, and opportunities can reach more young Africans.
