I don’t usually share any personal stuff on here, but pioneering scientific research is being done which could help not just my own son but also fellow sufferers of #MECP2 Duplication Syndrome. RT if you care, contribute if you can. Many thanks ❤️ justgiving.com/fundraising/d…

I watched the Louis Theroux documentary on the Manosphere (it’s really good - do watch it). I saw it with my 18-year-old daughter. Five things I learned from viewing it with her:

A 50% increase in corncrakes in our project 'LIFEtime'. There are too many people to thank for this. It shows what can be done- when we care enough. More to come.....watch this space! @NPWSIreland @DeptHousingIRL See story here: independent.ie/irish-news/de…

Mariam Dagga, killed by Israel today, was an incredibly talented photographer. She relentlessly and courageously documented the genocide. I'm going to share some of her images. Graphic content included.

I find the @Translink_NI app does work ok for tickets etc, but any time I have to use the actual website I think of tourists in despair trying to use it, and I feel close to tears 😭
Admittedly I am not young, but in my opinion the @Translink_NI website is one of the most unhelpful and clunky travel websites I have ever used (and that is putting it politely).

🧵1/ In Ireland, we used to see the land as a body. A living, breathing form. Every hill, every curve, every place—part of us. But colonisation didn’t just take the land. It took the meaning. It took the names. Let me show you what we’ve lost👇

Seo an áit a bhfuil muid ag dul. Cibé cúis atá leis an athrú mear atá ag teacht ar an aeráid, tá/beidh sé tubaisteach ar fad. Níl an plé leath chomh práinneach is ba chóir. Beidh 40°C 'normálta' roimh i bhfad, & leis an teic atá againn faoi láthair, teipfidh ar ár gcórais ⚡️

Paris could see temperatures of 45°C next week, taking into account the heat island effect, with tropical nights also. Europe and the Mediterranean are experiencing the fastest warming in recorded human history. Hard not to ask: what will 2035 look like at this rate?
