Logan Tabeling brewed up a BIG STORM last night against Lake Elsinore Storm, and in case you were curious, the Storm are the Single-A Affiliates of the Padres, so LFG on about 1000 different levels. 5.2IP | 2H | 0R | 8K | 1BB Mix: Fastball, Sweeper, Curveball, Cutter, and Change-up. Velo is usually 94-96, topping 97. Tabeling does a great job of getting ahead with the fastball, and then putting hitters away with the slider. Tabeling does a great job commanding the inside part of the plate with his heater, which jams hitters on contact, but then, also, backs off the plate to set up the slider. Tabeling does a great job of weaving between the "ball to strike" to "strike to ball", then sometimes, "strike to strike" concepts. Lots of advanced sequencing there, and the execution was spot on, check out the last breaking ball in the video...Wow! #dodgers
