Our ITU is fuller than it was in the spring.

No. They are clearly distinctive entities with different patient cohorts and skill sets.
There are elements of Same Day Emergency Care that perhaps used to be acceptable within an ED many moons ago but that is no longer a viable or desirable model of care.
