Hello friends! We've been awfully quiet here.
Putting out six issues of "Backslash Lit" has been everything to me: a joy, an honor, a learning experience, most of all a tremendous inspiration seeing all the ways art and tech could marry. What started as a home for code poems became a journal of the most incredible experiences.
After Issue 6, we've decided to go on hiatus.
Our website will remain at "https://backslashlit.com/", and our social media accounts will remain open. I hope to continue sharing, from time to time, other accounts and artworks that resonate with Backslash's vision.
When the right time comes for Backslash to return, it will be in a different form than the dream I built in 2020—I have so many thoughts and ideas on what I could've done differently!—and you all will be the first to know.
Thank you so much to the lit mag community and to all of the creatives trusting us with your work. <3
Love,
C.
