How do you teach filmmaking when the tools change faster than the syllabus? At BAIFF, the panel “The New Syllabus” brings together voices from ethics, education, mixed realities, philosophy, and visual arts to discuss what creators need to learn — and what they may need to unlearn. Because the question is no longer only how to use the tools. It is how to keep thinking clearly while the tools keep changing. With Radu Uszkai, Alexandru Berceanu, Mihaela Constantinescu and Matei Branea. baiff.ro

Cinema has always changed through tools. Sound, color, editing, digital, VFX — every new technology has forced the medium to renegotiate its language. Now AI enters the process. At BAIFF, the panel “Cinema in the Age of AI” opens the conversation with filmmakers, actors, producers, and AI artists on what changes when artificial intelligence becomes part of the creative process. With Dan Chișu, Andi Moisescu, Alex Minculescu “Mincu”, Robi Urs and Victor Toma. baiff.ro #BAIFF #CinemaIsExpanding #CinemaInTheAgeOfAI #AIFilm

Meet Dragoș C. Costache. He is a writer because he writes, which sounds much better than “Scriitor” in Romanian. Scriitor is cringe. Writing in the age of LLMs is also nothing to brag about, but rather something akin to an artisanal basket weaver, a niche, slightly sad occupation for out-of-touch urbanites left behind by progress. He studied PolSci, Sociology, Anthropology and some Media Studies, tries to weave a little bit of everything into his work but most importantly he is widely considered AIs biggest hater. baiff.ro
