Very sad to hear about the death of radio legend Howard Hughes. He was incredibly encouraging during my early newsreader years, and made my dream come true when he asked me to start reporting on Capital Breakfast (also his off-air gossip was truly outrageous!) RIP Howie 😔

Back to the old school with the amazing @AnnaJonesSky , leading Sky’s coverage with no autocue. And brilliant effort by engineers to get us back on air. A tiny 41kb of code from @CrowdStrike bricked thousands of machines - each of those currently being fixed manually.
