The answer is mismanagement and lack of effective leadership at the national level. Members competent enough to pull these initiatives off tend to not want to deal with the political bullshit involved in getting things done through these overly bureaucratic, legacy orgs
To my Black Greek Divine 9 organizations I have a couple of questions:
Why doesn’t any Divine 9 organization own a hospital?
Why doesn’t any Divine 9 organization own any charter schools?
Why doesn’t any Divine 9 organization own any major media news outlet?
Why are there only 2 credit unions when there are 9 different organizations?
The Divine 9 are considered the most educated and connected people in the black community but yall do not have majority ownership in a single industry.
That’s a problem.
