….is this thing on?
As someone who doesn’t pay attention to college ultimate anymore, can someone tell me why @JojahUltimate isn’t in the final USAU rankings? Their roster is still listed as “pending” on the verification page, so I assume some player admin stuff? @Ultiworld
Trivia question for @FullFieldHammer@ceisenhood@Ultiworld- is @UAHUltimate the first team to make both D3 and D1 nationals after their school got too big for D3?
I know there are a few that have chosen the D1 path, but wasn’t sure if there were any that were forced into it
Tuscaloosa has received over 4” of rain in the last 3 days with more coming today/tomorrow.
They probably still have flashbacks to when we destroyed the fields at regionals in like 2014ish

Cleaning out some old electronics and found a piece of BS history- the streaming box we used to broadcast a few times over the years.
It’s 10 years old at this point, but willing to pass it along to a new home if you’ll use it. @Ultiworld
It originally retailed for $500 back in 2013, but probably only sells for $50-100 on eBay these days.
Only claim if you’ll actually use it to broadcast to the masses.
The Atlanta area will finally have a field site capable of hosting Club Nationals and international level events. No idea if @ussoccer would be interested, but @USAUltimate should be on the phone immediately. It’s only 20 miles from the busiest airport in the country.
But really the situation is mostly silly because USAU added 2 more bids to the SE GL region the week of the tournament without actually telling the teams in an email.
They also declined a request to add more players so nationals was possible.
Barefoot had players that couldn’t make regionals that didn’t bother signing up since it was supposed to be 5 teams and 2 bids. Instead it was 5 teams with 4 bids, which gave them a chance to snag the last one.
Lesson learned- always fill up your roster just in case.
Is this the first national championship (club or college) that every streamed game is behind a paywall? It’s usually 1 free game per round and the rest behind a paywall, right?
This is not a slight against @Ultiworld, they have bills to pay.
I usually send a message out to friends that enjoy sports to check out the free streams, but I know none of them will be paying to watch all of these games.
“Back in my day” (the aughts) we had 32-36 teams in summer league. It was the hey day. And numbers have steadily declined. There are a ton of reasons, but my opinion is that there are just a ton options to play ultimate all year. Back in 2009 you had League and…
