On Friday, Carter Watts ‘25 returned to the Design Center to teach a hands-on weaving workshop inspired by her woven pieces in the Weaving Dreams exhibit. It was the perfect study break, and a chance to consider how contemporary quilting and weaving relate to ancestral practices.
