Claude writes more than 80 per cent of its own code. People shouldn't be surprised. msn.com/en-us/news/technolog…

POV: using claude 4.7 is pure cash grab. i don't see under what circumstances you'd ever wanna pay for that.

if you aren't going to persist in generating content fulltime, consistently, be honest and give up... in most cases, new content creators need to be consistent 60 days to create a foundation for growth, without getting any results in the meantime. if that's not you it's fine, but either cheat or stop lying to yourself and instead find alternative solutions to grow your whatever project.

LLMđź’€: "Actually there's yet another simpler option: just add xyz to xyz. No... OK I think the user's suggested approach is right. Let me just confirm and then do it carefully" So what happened here is that it found a simple working solution, but then out of nothing it just said "No...". There wasn't any reasoning or whatsoever, just NO. Think these so-called "non-sequitur" dismissals might be the rootcause of alot of issues. Whether or not this is deliberate (to waste tokens) is up for debate.

the reason why ai messes up is because it's programmed to please you instead of thinking logically. pair that with bad communication and your f'd. this works the same in real-life.

pov: lower tier models are for dev's with experience. high tier models are for non- & junior-devs. as a dev, you should be able to do alot with simple models.

Young vs. old intelligence:
Actually, that's fluid intelligence, and yes, young brains peak in their mid-20s. But with age, crystallized intelligence starts to kick in and takes over: accumulated knowledge and experience built up over a lifetime. This means older adults often outperform younger ones on tasks that draw on expertise, not because they think faster, but because they think smarter and deeper. A longtime fisherman looks at the sky, wind, and water color and knows where the fish will be, something a younger, faster-thinking deckhand simply hasn't lived enough to read yet. Crystallized intelligence keeps growing well beyond the 40s, vocabulary, for example, now appears to peak in the late 60s or early 70s.
