Pleased to announce publication of our pilot study on creative #arts therapy. Intervention was co-designed w/ persons with #Parkinson & was personalized: participants selected preferred art engagement from multiple creative media (our “playground”) based on individual preferences

Art intervention reduced anxiety & increased well-being. Interestingly, healthcare consumption reduced (fewer visits to medical professionals). These encouraging findings support need for large RCT to explore therapeutic potential of creative arts therapy in Parkinson care.

3. Special mention for unique exhibition "Poisoned leaves" by Adriaan Holsappel, artist who lives with #Parkinson. He has treated leaves with #glyphosate. In doing so, he expresses his concerns about impact of our human actions on nature, climate and health.

2. Along with many scientists & leading organizations such as @MichaelJFoxOrg I feel that burden of proof has shifted to industry to demonstrate that #paraquat is safe (rather than requesting scientists to prove that paraquat is a cause of #Parkinson).
