The Youth Endowment Fund has released a report "Beyond the Headlines- Trends in violence affecting children", looking at the year 2022/23. We want to share some of the facts from the report over the next few weeks - raising awareness for the crisis that is affecting young people

Areas in Nottingham are in the top 10% most deprived in the country, meaning that young people are living below the poverty line in our city. Base 51 are here to support young people in need - providing a safe place where they can talk to our Youth Workers and Counsellors.

Notts charity @base51 does amazing work providing activities and mental health support for young people.
It was great to visit their new premises with @LilianGreenwood, speak to young people and celebrate their success in securing funding from the Morrisons Foundation. Congrats!
