Question to Muslims: Do you accept this definition of a Muslim given by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as sufficient? Or do you feel it’s insufficient? In that case, you think the Prophet ﷺ forgot something and that you and your Ulema know better than him (نعوذ باللہ من ذلك) Speak up!

#Arcom #CNews #HaineMediatique #RichardHaddad #Justice #RespectDesReligions #france #israel

In response to a report submitted by the nazim of Dar-ul-Ifta regarding the offering of Jumuah or the Zuhr prayers after the Eid prayer in case of the coinciding of Eid and Friday, Hazrat Amirul Momineen, Khalifatul Masih V (aa), in his letter dated 16 May 2021, provided the following guidance: “We only find the position and practice of Hazrat Abdullah ibn Zubayr (ra) in support of not performing the Jumuah or the Zuhr prayers following the Eid prayer in case of the coinciding of Eid and Friday. “This view is merely based on a maqtu‘ narration. Moreover, we find a contradiction in the statements of two of the narrators of this tradition. “According to authentic and reliable ahadith, the sunnah of the Holy Prophet (sa), the view of the rightly-guided Caliphs and the position of the Companions (ra) were that all of them would perform the Friday prayer on time in such a case, in addition to performing the Eid prayer, and would give leave to the people coming from remote places and would direct them to instead offer the Zuhr prayer in their respective areas. Or, on some occasions, they did not offer the Friday prayer after the Eid prayer, but the Zuhr prayer was certainly still offered on time. “The same view and practice are found during the times of the Promised Messiah (as) and his Caliphs, except for the one-off practice of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih III (rh) when he did not perform the Jumu‘ah or the Zuhr prayer after leading the Eid prayer in accordance with the above-mentioned narration of Hazrat Abdullah ibn Zubayr (ra). “However, this narration of Hazrat Abdullah ibn Zubayr (ra) is not based on any statement or action of the Holy Prophet (sa) or his rightly-guided Caliphs. Therefore, the obligatory prayers cannot be abandoned just because of this maqtu‘ narration, whose narrators also contradict each other. “Thus, ...if Eid and Friday coincide and Jumu‘ah is not offered following the Eid prayer, then the Zuhr prayer must still be offered on time.”

I was pleased to join my colleagues and attend the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’s annual Break-A-Fast in Ottawa last night, bringing together community leaders, public servants, and Canadians from all faith backgrounds. Organized by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the evening reflected the spirit of Ramadan — a time of reflection, compassion, and service to others. The theme of interfaith support and dialogue is more important than ever. Canada is stronger when communities come together in this spirit of unity and mutual respect. Events like this highlight the important role the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community plays in civic life and in advancing the values of peace, inclusion, and religious freedom across our country.

Call for Muslim Unity In today’s Friday Sermon, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba) highlighted how forces of the Dajjal seek to create division within the Muslim world. Despite possessing great wealth and resources, Muslims remain weakened due to disunity and failing to act upon the true teachings of Islam. Beloved Huzoor (aba) urged Muslims to turn to sincere prayer and reflect upon the divine system established through the Promised Messiah (as) to unite the Ummah. Only through justice, unity, and obedience to Allah can lasting peace be achieved. Friday Sermon, 6th March 2026) #FridaySermon #MTAi #CallForUnity
