The Parks & Greenspaces Team gathered yesterday to carryout restorative works and planting around the Royal Victoria Park ponds, following the recent silt removal project. These improvements aim to make an enjoyable and welcoming visit to the Park ponds!🌸

An error, these trees are in fact entering their third year in the ground! Having been planted over two years ago by volunteers on a brilliant weekend in Feb 2022 🌳

Fantastic turn out at the Purlewent Green tree aftercare session earlier this month! Coordinated by the excellent @MoreTreesBANES. Great to see so many buds on the trees as they enter their second year in the ground… a woodland of the future. #TreesForClimate @forestofavon 🌳

Alice Park is now home to 14 new trees! A range of species have been planted, from Midland Hawthorns to an Indian Bean Tree, that will bring benefits for wildlife and people. A huge thanks to the Lambridge Councillors for making this happen with their Ward Empowerment Fund🌳

A big thank you to the Saltford Primary Green Team for their fantastic help in improving habitat for pollinators at Claverton Road Open Space! We planted three new cherry blossom trees and added the finishing touches to the new meadows as part of the Bee Bold Pollinator Project🌸

Advance Notice of Works ⚠ A drainage project in Royal Victoria Park, to help mitigate flooding above the play area, will commence 15th Jan and run for 6 weeks. Part of the circular road and parking will be closed. Pedestrian access will be unaffected.
