A lot of ppl have this mindset bc they think they will be rich and won't ever have to worry about that. Meanwhile many of us are an accident/emergency away from a life changing financial emergency. Ppl truly don't care that affordable rent helps everyone bc they want to be on top. And others have to be on the bottom for that to happen
