Today, we announced a $ 250m investment for our Giga Berlin Cell factory. This will enable 18GWh of annual 4680 cell production and create more than 1500 new jobs. Good news during challenging times for the German industry.

Now that @Tesla has publicly announced the final Cybercab in bright, glossy gold and that production SOP (Start or Production) has happened, here are some views of several at Giga Texas today in the outbound lot. As you can visually see, these are very noticeably different from the wrapped engineering versions. These look so good out in the sun for the first time!

Cars are why oil is so geopolitically consequential. Electric cars will crush that demand. Without demand from cars, providing enough oil (or alternatives) for everything else is trivial.

I like to look at liquidity in combination with the power law. The power law defines the long-term trajectory, while liquidity explains the shorter-term moves within it. Liquidity is currently at ATHs, signaling that Bitcoin could push into overbought territory soon. The height of the top — if we see one in 2026 — will largely depend on timing. The longer it takes, the higher it can go. Currently, the 99.9th quantile sits around $270k. By year-end, it will be closer to $350k. Even though the 2σ band sits well above the 99.9th quantile, I wouldn’t bet on Bitcoin breaking the power law to the upside.

Waiting for Dutch authorities and then the EU to approve. Very frustrating and hurts the safety of people in Europe, as driving with advanced Autopilot on results in four times fewer injuries! Please ask your governing authorities to accelerate making Tesla safer in Europe.
