Just landed the biggest contract of my career for a single UGC video, and it's with Reddit. I've been trying to cut back on smaller deals while running an agency and building an app, so I negotiated hard and they made it work. Just had to turn down a deal with my agency because the client wanted an expedited process And im not mad about it I am for sure not sacrificing the quality of my creatives and putting that pressure on creators to produce videos in a tightened span just to get them out and secure a deal That is when shit hits the fan and the process becomes warped in terms of the quality that I hold my agency to 🤷‍♂️ That also puts me in a rough spot if shipping delays or unprecedented events occur and thats not worth it to me #ugc #ugccreator #ugccommunity

Old heads who don’t know what to post for your brand, try this: Take that video/pic you’ve been wanting to post. Add a new Drake song to it. And share it. When there’s external waves that present huge opportunities, you need to learn how to ride them 🌊

Giving the creator full freedom to make out the box concepts based on their judgement because the video will ALWAYS come out better: 😃 Locking down a creator to concepts and words that are unnatural and handcuffing their potential: 😡 A brand/agency may not know you have a pool, kids, or the ability to film in certain places or with certain people. Sometimes these details go unspoken, but when a creator is in control they can make adjustments on the fly. "I just realized my friend is coming into town this weekend, let me include them in one of my concepts." BOOM, you made an adjustment that will make the video 1000x more engaging. Giving creators no creative freedom is what will take your campaign down in flames, and you're wasting both time and money at that point.
