Same with the 2020 election: it was somehow rigged against Trump but not the thousands of other Republicans on the same ballots.
More than a few people who were barking this morning that California Dems had rigged the election against Pratt are currently congratulating Steve Hilton on making the gubernatorial runoff without any recognition that these two things don't compute

It is far from the most important problem in politics today, but the slow CA count does need to be sped up. Just be careful not to compare to other countries that lack signature verified and have short ballots.
It's hard to overstate how much of an outlier California is for its slow vote-counting relative to literally any other state or almost any other industrialized democracy.

Cornyn is only getting about half of the total votes cast for him in the initial primary
To say Ken Paxton is ahead by a landslide margin would be an understatement. As of right now, Cornyn only leads in three counties: Dallas, Travis, and tiny, rural Kenedy. votes.decisiondeskhq.com/rac…

To be fair, the DPW is so successful at fundraising that the DNC funds might be better spent elsewhere
.@reidepstein with a good catch: Last month, the D.N.C. sent $15,500 to the Democratic Party in American Samoa and just $10,500 to the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. nytimes.com/2026/05/22/us/po…

The report is amateur & incomplete, but notable it’s all about resources, not at all about messaging/platform.

Dems might win the Senate this year but have entirely new leadership in 2027. When has that happened before?
