The Cosmos FUD merchants need to be called out.
You know who you are. The accounts currently posting "Cosmos is dead" and "ATOM is worthless" the same ones who got life-changing money from the 2023-2024 Cosmos airdrop era and said nothing but bullish takes while they were quietly dumping on their own audience.
Let me pull up the receipts.
TIA (Celestia) October 2023. If you were active in Cosmos staking, using IBC, interacting with chains you got TIA for free. It ran to $20 . This single airdrop genuinely retired people. It was the biggest free-money event in all of crypto that year, and it went to Cosmos ecosystem participants specifically.
DYM (Dymension) — January 2024. Rollup hub, Cosmos-built, snapshot rewarded Cosmos ecosystem users heavily. It launched and immediately pumped to $8 . Another wallet-changing drop, handed to people simply for being present in this ecosystem.
These weren't small numbers. People with meaningful Cosmos ecosystem exposure cleared five to six figures from airdrops alone not trading, not degen aping just existing in the ecosystem these "Cosmos is dead" guys are now spitting on.
And let's not even get started on Stargaze.
While the rest of crypto was losing their minds over Bored Apes and paying $50 in Ethereum gas fees to mint a JPEG, Cosmos quietly built its own NFT economy and it was actually fun.
Stargaze gave the ecosystem a native NFT marketplace with near-zero fees, on-chain royalties that actually worked, and a culture that rewarded genuine community participation over whale flipping. Collections like Bad Kids built real identity and community inside the Cosmos ecosystem. People were trading, collecting, and earning without getting robbed by gas fees every single time.
The same influencers now FUDing Cosmos were posting their Bad Kids PFPs. They were in the Stargaze Discord. They minted, they flipped, they profited and the infrastructure that made all of it possible was built by the Cosmos developer community they now treat like a punchline.
So let's add it all up.
Free TIA. Free DYM. NFT profits on Stargaze. A low-fee, IBC-powered ecosystem that handed out more organic wealth to ordinary participants than almost any other chain in crypto history no VCs front-running you, no insider allocations dressed up as "community rounds."
And your response to all of that is to go on Twitter and tell your audience Cosmos is irrelevant?
You didn't discover alpha. You were given it. And now you're too embarrassed to admit that the ecosystem you're dismissing is the same one that funded the lifestyle you're currently living.
The Cosmos thesis - sovereign chains, IBC, the modular stack is being validated by the entire industry in real time. TIA and DYM weren't flukes. They were built on Cosmos architecture, they rewarded Cosmos users, and they proved this ecosystem still produces world-class innovation.
You extracted the value. You profited from the community. The least you could do is sit down quietly instead of poisoning the well you already drank from.
Some of us still believe in what's being built here. And we remember who was here and what they took before they decided to leave and complain on the way out.
