We stand in solidarity with the @Nava_United. ALL @NavaPBC workers deserve a seat at the table. The people who build our government services deserve to experience democracy in their own workplace.

Here's a round of ideation sketches 👀🖍
The heart actually happened organically! I was sketching some buildings & riffing on how to portray a civic vibe (right) and realized it looked like a heart. I pulled the heart out (bottom left) and it all started coming to life ✨
Will you be our valentine?
Check this 🧵 for love notes from fellow tech workers. If you've got your own note to share, add it to this form and we'll play Cupid 💘👇

We are so incredibly proud to welcome @Nava_United into the Local 1010 community. It's time for those who build our government services to experience democracy in their own workplace, and we can't wait to see these powerful workers win recognition for their union 🤝 🇺🇸 🎉🗣🏛
Today we are proud to stand together and ask @navapbc leadership for voluntary recognition of our union. As a union we will build a stronger, more sustainable organization for our staff, our clients, and—most importantly—the people we serve.

Dear Rohan Bhobe,
This is a pivotal moment for Nava. We are excited to notify you that a supermajority of eligible employees have joined together to form Nava United, a union affiliated with the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) Tech Workers Union Local 1010. We are writing to request voluntary recognition of our union, and we authorize OPEIU Local 1010 to represent us for collective bargaining. In the event you do not proceed with the voluntary recognition process, we will ask the National Labor Relations Board to hold an election.
We believe that forming our union will promote transparency, ensure equity, increase staff well-being and retention, attract new talent, and add to the long list of reasons why we are proud to work at Nava. As a union, we will build a stronger, more sustainable organization for our staff, our clients, and—most importantly—the people we serve (See website for the rest)

Workers at Crismon & Southern in Mesa, AZ stand in solidarity with their fellow partners at Power & Baseline!
We love seeing the ways workers decide to share their values through visual imagery. The story behind @bcworkersunion's logo is a good one & reminds us that workers are the ones who make tech possible ✨🏹💪
After all the work around our campaign and the excitement from winning voluntary recognition, we took a much needed break. BUT - WE'RE BACK AT IT!
Up next: we're starting the process of nominating and electing our bargaining committee. More soon!
Are you looking at @bcworkersunion like "huh? how can my colleagues prepare to win our union?"
You should probably come to our inoculation training December 14th at 8pm ET.
It's a great time to learn what to expect when you're organizing your union: techworkersunion-1010.org/ev…
We’re SO proud to call @bcworkersunion the newest members of our growing union family with @techunion1010.
Tech. Workers. Deserve. A. Union.
Thanks to @bigcartel for doing the right thing. Let’s start bargaining for a stronger organization by building a better workplace 🎉🎉🎉
We want to extend gratitude to Matt Wigham and Eric Turner for voluntarily recognizing BCWU and working with us to make this process go smoothly. We are excited to move into bargaining in the new year and look forward to what this means for Big Cartel’s future.
We're also excited to join this moment with our comrades @techunion1010 and the movement to unionize tech spaces. We hope BCWU can serve as an example of what it looks like when tech executives do the right thing and recognize our power as workers.
