Sockjig once again right on the money here. This system fundamentally does not work well interfacing with queue systems and they operated independently before for a reason. Anyone that’s been around for a bit understands that. All for transparency, but this seems hollow
This is very detailed report, but the core issue is Shopify triggers a queue whenever a lot of traffic appears. This is by design so that all other stores are not affected.
So the empty cart issue might be fixed, but next time 4.7M show up to enter a raffle, there’ll be a queue.
