The national annual report on SIAMS inspections over the last year by @DrMJ93 was published this morning by @CofE_Education. Good to celebrate the positive, and draw together recommendations to improve impact on children, young people and adults in schools.

Here are things that I appreciate about the summer holidays as a teacher:
1) Eating breakfast as a family
2) Getting to cook for the family
3) Getting a haircut on a week day
4) Being able to finish a book in under a week
5) Not using the words spreadsheet, rota or data.

Definitely recommend heading straight off on holiday once the term has ended. Nothing makes rotas, budgets and emails fade into the background like visiting the beach.
