Trees are one of our best defences against #GlobalWarming, but planting more isn't going to save us.
Reforestation is a long-term solution for an immediate crisis - it's not good enough.
We need to end deforestation now & keep our trees in the ground where they belong!π³

Reforestation is a complicated topic, but it's got really great potential to help us undo some of the damage we've caused.
But these sequestration solutions can only be effective if they're accompanied by a serious reduction in emissions and consumption in the global North π«
