NEWS: Big Ten officials are expected to discuss in the upcoming days a league-wide mandate to not play Texas Tech in any sports, per three Big Ten sources. This is in the wake of Nebraska AD Troy Dannen informing his staff today that they aren't allowed to schedule Texas Tech.

Absolutely threatens the integrity of college sports.
If the guy wants to bet on pro sports, hey, go for it.
But he bet on college sports... and he was 100% told that he CAN'T do that.... and the judge just decides... who cares?

Breaking: A judge in district court in Lubbock County, Texas, has granted the injunction requested by Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby. He’s set to be eligible for the 2026 season.
Sorsby cannot play in Texas Tech's first two games, which was the penalty his legal team suggested to the NCAA.

This is very cool and something people should celebrate. Kansas hired a great coach, has a definite host resume, is tuning in as a fanbase that historically hasn’t, & is making the effort to upgrade its venue for its biggest game this century.

Colder in Kansas than Arkansas? Man that's CRAZY.
I didn't know so many SEC fans were into turf management. A lot of them seem to have become experts since KU was awarded a regional this weekend and an SEC team happened to get assigned to it though.
Avg winter temps in Lawrence in Feb and March 34-40. Avg in Fayetteville 49-51. So yes it gets colder in Kansas. Kansas averages 12-16 “ Fayetteville 6-8. So yah it’s more winter like there

NEWS: The formerly-named Cessna Stadium has a new namesake. #WichitaState's track and field stadium will be re-named Crossland Stadium, WSU announced Tuesday.
Crossland Construction, a Columbus, Kan. based company, is leading the current renovation of the stadium. @KWCH12

Talking to our area schools who made State, the state quarters did not have a State atmosphere last year. I like the idea of everything in Wichita, but think they should add quarters to it. Making state should feel big: our schools said the quarters felt like Sub-State in '26.
