Last night we sat amid Tempo fans. The teenage girl next to me had questions about the photo on my lockscreen.
My favorite was, "Is she your granddaughter?"
Statements about how hard she must practice and how her coaches and family and teammates must be awesome followed.

I am going to put the finishing touches on the latest iteration of my Charlise Dunn Wildcat hat this evening. If tomorrow is sunny, the hat will spend the day in the sun, so its eyes can glow in the dark tomorrow night.

I sort of want Mom to watch a basketball game with @BelkReport sometime - a game when she feels the need to do a lot of arguing with the officials.
She is livid watching the Spurs-Knicks game. She isn't invested in any way w/ either team. Not sure which team she wants to win.

Mom and I are going through Dad's books one more time before I distribute them. Pearl Swiggum's books are going nowhere.
Pearl's column ran in Dad's paper - The Boscobel Dial - and I always looked forward to opening my mailbox and seeing that newspaper.

There are several books that relate to Dad's favorite @DavidsonCollege professor - James Slicer Purcell. I wasn't allowed to touch them. They were sort of sacred.
Betty Bradley Purcell sent this one to Dad. It had Dr Purcell's signature inside.
