Lots of you awesome folk are asking how you can help us with our mission - the biggest way is to buy Being ManKind Volume 1 from beingmankind.org & spread the stories! Your purchase also means we can donate a copy to a school 🙌🏽 x.com/beingmankind/status/97…
Remember why we tell the stories we do...Imagine a world where gender stereotypes have no power? Imagine a world where kids are given the chance to truly understand themselves? Imagine a world where 'Man Up!' means nothing but 'Be Human, Be Yourself' does? #heforshe #mentalhealth

Violence against women & girls often starts with words. Sexist comments, if not combatted early, can escalate over time to violence. We know that most men want to be part of the solution, so we spoke to men across London about their experiences. Here's what we learned👇🏾#Maaate

If your friend’s language or behaviour was crossing a line, would you know how to step in? My new campaign, Say #Maaate to a Mate, is a single word to stop misogynistic language in its tracks. Get involved 👇🏽 london.gov.uk/maaate

I’m struggling to find the words to put with this post but please watch my most recent interview with Dele. It’s the most emotional, difficult yet inspirational conversation I’ve ever had in my life. Watch the interview on @wearetheoverlap here youtu.be/LyDL9EUIdy0

Watch this. I have a feeling we’ll be watching this again in years to come when this incredible girl is sorting out the world.

Incredible video. Afghan dad jokingly says school is only for boys. Watch his remarkable daughter - who can’t be more than 5 or 6 years old - respond with these arguments. Afghan girls have been denied access to schools and universities. This little girl's courage represents the collective voice of countless Afghan girls who yearn for equal educational opportunities. As an advocate for girls' education the father's teasing is simply to highlight an important message: that the Taliban - another backward regime - are harming the people of his country. It’s time the world is done with them. Ditto the “Islamic” Republic in Iran #regime

So worth listening to #TransRightsAreHumanRights
I love my trans brothers and sisters. I may not be smart enough to understand the nuance of the whole situation, but just know, you are welcome on this rednecks porch for tea anytime you want. Sorry for being long winded. ❤️

My Year 6 pupils had a great discussion about this in PSHE today - looking at gender stereotypes. My favourite discussion was: is the van driver a man or woman? #edutwitter #PSHE @beingmankind

As someone who worked in domestic abuse interventions for over a decade it was a real honour to be part of such an important campaign. The experiences of the women were harrowing. The perspectives of the men were so insightful. We all have a responsibility to help stop abuse 🖤

I’ve used the recent @tes article to create this 10 min Andrew Tate PPT for use in form time next week. We go into much more detail in our spiralled PSHE SOW but it’s important to continue the conversation. Let me know if you’d like a copy ✅

Super important thread. Thank you @ginamartinuk This is exactly what our stories and free school sessions allow teachers to do. Please do check out our work at beingmankind.org/education

When faced with misogyny in the headlines teachers and parents always ask: "How do I talk to the boys in my life about sexual violence?" You don't. You don't start there. If you want to have an actual conversation that works, it has to begin somewhere else. 🧵

After Andrew Tate got deplatformed, we asked readers how they'd seen the loved ones in their lives change by listening to these toxic male influencers. Their answers were sad and disturbing: buzzfeednews.com/article/ade…
