New @MayoClinic study finds that 1 in 6 patients with #colorectalcancer had an inherited cancer-related gene mutation, which likely predisposed them to the disease. Researchers also discovered that 60% of cases would not have been detected with a standard guideline-based approach

Any 'guideline' excluding some breast cancer pts will miss pts with pathogenic mutations! I'm truly perplexed at the reticence to test ALL breast cancer pts. Yes there will be PV's w few management guidelines & VUS's (don't act on these)- it's OK we can handle these minor issues
