Just let my @Tesla FSD subscription lapse. v13 was very promising: a young driver who made some predictable mistakes but had an uncanny knack for avoiding bad situations. Worst disengagement after ~10 months: tried to chew up my wheels by driving over a median. /1
v14 is very dangerous: it's like a skittish, fearful, and UNPREDICTABLE driver who CREATES dangerous situations where none existed. Worst disengagement in ~3 weeks: it got scared changing lanes and tried to swerve into the back of a stopped police vehicle. /2
I do not anticipate trying FSD again at any price until v14 is retired or massively overhauled. These aren't minor blemishes which need to be smoothed over; they indicate a fundamentally flawed approach to the driving task compared to v13, and flawed Tesla priorities. 3/3
I just watched a woman pour hot water into iced coffee, and a few minutes later declare "This is the worst coffee!"
I'm worried that the stupid might be contagious 😷
The narrative to excuse Kirk's murderer plea bargaining for no death penalty will be to spare Kirk's family from further trauma and uncertainty of a trial.
You can take this to the fucking bank.
My @Tesla FSD went full Waluigi mode today. I disengaged it while it was attempting a dangerous and illegal maneuver and it proceeded to make 5 more egregious mistakes in 5 minutes. This is not GA-ready.
I just asked @GeminiApp for the weather in the bluest county in North Carolina and in a red county. It happily provided the former and refused to provide the latter, suddenly pretending that "as a language model" etc. it would be unsafe to provide weather in a red county.
I looked away from #appellatetwitter for a single month and then CA5 does something really sketchy in Devillier v Texas - they tried to remand it back to state court, the opposite of what SCOTUS said to do?! Maybe someone like @RMFifthCircuit can explain what's in the water?
Why and how does @WellsFargo sell your CC number and security code to fraudsters? This is the 2nd time I've had a brand new card used fraudulently. It's never been swiped at a terminal; never been inserted into a chip reader. WF is the only place the info could be leaked.
I've never used @vcolorofficial RAM before and I can't test mine yet (unexpectedly quick shipping!), but I now know they are serious about packaging: it came in a standard tray, in a box, in bubble wrap, between foam pads, in a box, in three layers of bubblewrap, in a padded bag.
